About the event
Spend an afternoon talking Joy Division in Ian Curtis’s hometown. Proper Sound’s New Dawn Fades pre-show hangout brings together music, a charity quiz and a discussion of the records that helped shape Curtis’s world.
Tuesday’s guests are Tony Davidson and Mick Middles, discussing Ian Curtis’s record collection with reference to Dave Nolan’s article for Manchester Cult. There is also a Q&A with Mick Middles about both his books — a chance to hear the stories behind the writing and put your own questions to him.
