Established for over 8 years, online town guide is still the only dedicated website dedicated to promoting our wonderful town. The High Street is the heart of our town and there has never been a more important time to champion the many independent businesses that make Macclesfield so unique.
The new website and app has been created using a new AI based platform. Macclesfield is one of the first towns in the UK to road test and experience a brand new way to engage with the high street, hospitality, community groups and more.
Discover content personalised around YOUR likes and interests. The new ‘trail’ features launching in 2022 will inspire and help you find great things to do in and around Macclesfield. The new augmented reality feature on the app will bring a whole new dimension to the way you can interact with the high street and even something the kids can get involved with!
Throughout 2022 the website and app will be updated weekly. You’ll be able to save money with exclusive offers, loyalty promotions and receive updates on local news and events. Users will also be able to browse and purchase products and services from local businesses listed on the app and website.
Over the last 6 years we’ve championed everything wonderful about our town. Macclesfield was named the 15th happiest place to live in the UK in 2021 and we feel very proud to represent the town.
