About the event
The Concert Group of the Macclesfield Branch of the Society of Recorder Players brings a varied programme to the Silk Museum. The music ranges from traditional tunes and carols to arrangements of classical and romantic works and approachable contemporary music written for recorder ensembles. Listeners will hear five recorder voices: sopranino, soprano or descant, alto or treble, tenor and bass. Several players change instruments during the concert.
