About the event
Dr Claire Monroy of Keele University explores how babies learn from their everyday sensory and movement experiences, and how researchers investigate cognition before children can explain what they know. The free Bollington SciBar talk takes place at the Cock and Pheasant pub on Monday 9 November 2026, starting promptly at 6.30pm. All are welcome and visitors should arrive early for a seat. Dr Monroy is a psychology lecturer and co-director of Keele’s interdisciplinary Developmental Science lab. The programme allows time for questions after the talk, finishing by 8pm at the latest.
