Tytherington Juniors FC in Macclesfield are a local community based grassroots football club. Run by volunteers, they have been established in the town since 1987.

They are an F.A. Charter Standard Club and Members of The East Cheshire Sunday Football League, The Mid Cheshire Youth Football League and Stockport Metro League.

They have teams ranging from Open Age & Under 18’s down to our brand new U6 Development team. All run by FA qualified Managers and Coaches, that are all volunteers and have 30+ teams and over 330+ players now within the club.

They believe it is so important to keep players / community’s young children active, both mentally and physically. This is why they are now offering their Academy free for all to attend. It’s great that the players will shortly get to see their friends, meet some new friends and enjoy some outdoor football.

Following lockdown being lifted, so that as many young players can begin their grassroots football journey as possible – any/all players are then invited to attend their weekly football coaching at 5pm on a Tuesday at our Academy for FREE …… this is a massive investment by the club and one they feel is absolutely right.

They can’t wait to get back to football, all new players to the Academy will be given a little reward / incentive card at their first session, for every session they then attend they get a – then along the way, they get some fab little rewards – week is a TJFC medal, week a Nike TJFC training shirt, week training shorts and week our club socks …. so our new players will get some fab rewards for their attendance and by the end of week – they will have had a full Nike TJFC training kit (for free)

Eligible players in our Academy will then be invited to play for their Under 7s when the time comes in the Mid-Cheshire Youth Football League.
