Leyla’s Dolci Pasticceria Italiana

Leyla’s Dolci Pasticceria Italiana is an independent Italian patisserie and coffee shop at 75 Chestergate in Macclesfield town centre. It was founded by pastry chef Leyla Peaquin, who was born and raised in Italy and trained at the School of Italian Culinary Arts before building her cake business in Macclesfield.

Leyla began selling cakes from home in 2023 and opened the Chestergate shop in 2026. Her aim is to bring the feel of an authentic Italian pasticceria to Macclesfield, with Italian cakes and pastries alongside dark-roasted coffee and selected savoury Italian options. Private cake orders continue alongside the shop.

The focus is Italian-style patisserie rather than a standard high-street bakery.
