South Park

South Park in Macclesfield is only a 5 minute walk from the town centre and our largest park, with lots of great things to do for kids and families whatever the season.

Spread over 44 acres, there’s plenty of open space to walk the dog, play balls games, have picnics or just amble around. The kids can enjoy the Skate & BMX Bowl Plaza, kids play ground, table tennis, feed the ducks, play on the 18 hole pitch and putt course or enjoy the practice basket ball hoop.

There’s lots of fun for grown ups too of course including a fishing pool, nine tennis courts, a multi ball court, and two small 5 a-side/Basket/Netball areas and two bowling greens.

You’ll also find La Petite Frog, a wonderful mobile catering facility located on the car park if you’d like a cup of tea/coffee and a bite to eat!
