Chester Zoo

Chester Zoo is one of the most popular tourist attractions in the UK. Established over 80 years ago by George Mottershead, he had a vision of creating something unique; a Zoo without bars. He pioneered a unique experience, offering kids and adults a rare opportunity to see animals from all over the world within comfortable enclosures recreating their environment.

The Zoo is a fabulous day out with attractions to keep you busy for a whole day. Explore the 125 acre site, with over 500 species amongst beautiful gardens, places to eat or enjoy a coffee, tea or cold drink. Enjoy a wonderful boat trip plus a brand new monorail which takes you around the whole site.
