Macclesfield In May – Party In The Pews
Macclesfield In May – Party In The Pews music festival is being held on Friday 29th April, Saturday 30th April and Sunday 1st May 2022.
The 2021 Macclesfield In October festival charity event was a fantastic success and raised a significant donation to Christies. Organisers have excitedly announced the 2022 follow up event and have already confirmed a great line up of popular bands, artists and Dj’s. Discounted weekend early bird tickets are now available to purchase from Skiddle – click here
The Festival will take place at Christ Church in Macclesfield. A stunning and redundant Anglican church and Grade II listed building in the centre of the town. The old church is under the care of the Churches Conservation Trust and a dedicated team of volunteers know as the ‘The Roe-naissance Project’. The group take their name from Charles Row (7 May 1715 – 3 May 1781), the famous English industrialist who was responsible for establishing the town. The team are hugely excited to see community events returning to the town and Christ Church.
All the artists performing at the event are donating their time for free. The festival is a non profit initiative working with The Christie Cancer Hospital. Proceeds of the event will help the fundraising for the new Macclesfield Christie Hospital.
